Multi-Material Direct Ink Writing (DIW) 3D Printing Platform
Explore New Materials. Create More Possibilities.
Eazao Lab is a versatile multi-material Direct Ink Writing (DIW) 3D printing platform designed for material research, functional structures, and advanced additive manufacturing.
Unlike conventional 3D printers designed around standardized filaments or resins, Eazao Lab is built to work with a wide range of paste-like, gel-based, and functional materials. Its modular extrusion system allows researchers to explore their own formulations and develop new material–process combinations without being limited to proprietary consumables.
From hydrogels and ceramic pastes to conductive inks, nanoclay composites, and other experimental materials, Eazao Lab provides an open and flexible platform for turning material ideas into three-dimensional structures.
Multi-Material Printing in a Single Platform
Eazao Lab can be configured with multiple independent print heads, enabling different materials to be integrated within the same printing process.
Each material channel can operate independently, allowing different materials, colors, formulations, or functional inks to be deposited at designated locations within a single model.
With multi-head configurations, researchers can explore applications such as multi-material structures, gradient designs, conductive patterns, soft robotics, functional devices, and composite architectures.
Not just multi-color — multi-material.
Built for Material Research
The challenge of DIW printing is often not simply moving a nozzle in three dimensions. Different materials may require completely different extrusion conditions.
Eazao Lab is designed around this challenge.
Its modular architecture supports different extrusion and functional modules, allowing the system to be adapted to the rheological and processing requirements of different materials. Depending on the configuration, the platform can support functions such as:
- Independent multi-material extrusion
- Room-temperature extrusion
- Heated material extrusion
- Material cooling
- UV-assisted curing
- Screw-based extrusion
- Multiple syringe and nozzle configurations
- Customized extrusion solutions for special materials
This makes Eazao Lab suitable not only for printing existing formulations, but also for developing and validating entirely new printable materials.
Open Materials. Open Possibilities.
We believe material researchers should not be locked into a limited catalog of proprietary inks.
Eazao Lab is an open-material platform. Researchers can prepare and use their own formulations according to their experimental requirements.
Potential printable materials include:
Hydrogels · Nanoclay · Ceramic Pastes · Conductive Inks · Liquid-Metal-Based Materials · Polymer Pastes · Composite Materials · Functional Inks · Experimental Soft Materials
Actual printability depends on material rheology, particle size, nozzle diameter, extrusion method, curing mechanism, and other processing parameters.
Applications
Eazao Lab is designed for interdisciplinary research across materials science, engineering, electronics, robotics, biomedical research, and advanced manufacturing.
Typical research directions include:
Multi-Material Printing
Combine multiple formulations or functional materials within a single structure.
Functional & Flexible Electronics
Print conductive patterns, electrodes, interdigitated structures, and flexible functional devices.
Soft Robotics
Fabricate soft structures and explore multi-material architectures for actuators and soft robotic systems.
Hydrogel & Soft Material Printing

New Material Development
Evaluate printability, optimize formulations, and study the relationship between material rheology, process parameters, and printed structures.
From Material to Structure
Eazao Lab is more than a machine for reproducing predefined models.
It is a platform for exploring the relationship between:
Material × Structure × Process × Application
Whether you are developing a new functional ink, investigating multi-material architectures, or simply trying to determine whether a new formulation can be 3D printed, Eazao Lab provides a flexible experimental platform to move from material formulation to physical structure.
